Access to geodata is required so that you can confirm your location at the point of sale.
Go to the Device Settings > Find EasyMerch > Location > Make sure that "Always" is selected (if there is no such option, select "When using the App") > turn on "Precise Location" here (if available)
Go to the Device Settings > Find EasyMerch > Make sure that "Background App Refresh" and "Mobile Data" are enabled
