Preparing for data cleanup

The EasyMerch app stores a special type of data — cache. Sometimes you may need to clear it, for example, at the request of support

You can clear the cache directly in the app. Before doing this, make sure that the queue is empty and all reports have been sent, otherwise they may be lost. To check the queue, on the main page of the app, click «Queue»

Once you've verified that the queue is empty, on the main page, click the four bars in the lower left corner to open «Menu»

Find the «Settings» and click on it

Clearing the Data cache

Scroll down and click on «Clear Cache Data» if you need to clear pending reports, sequences, training and recognizer

In the window that opens, select the reason why you needed to clear the cache. If the support service asks you to delete the data cache, select the «Other» option. Write a comment, if desired, this is not necessary. Click on «Clear Cache Data»

In the pop-up window «Attention! By clearing Cache Data, you are confirming the deletion of data for all unfinished reports, Sets of Reports, CV recognition results, and Self-learning for all accounts. Do you want to continue?» click «OK» to continue clearing the data cache, or «Cancel» if you have changed your mind about clearing the data cache

The app will automatically restart. Wait for the status at the top «Status: data refreshed, you can work»

Clearing File cache

If you need to free up space on your device, tap «Settings» and scroll down. Click «Clear File Cache»

In the pop-up window «Clearing temporary files...» click «OK» to start cleaning files

The data deletion process will begin. Then the app will return to «Settings»

Clearing the Recognizer

If you need to clear scene recognition in unsent reports, click «Settings» and scroll down. Click «Clear Recognizer»

In the pop-up window «Cleared» click «OK» to confirm clearing the recognizer data

After clearing the data, the app will return to «Settings»

Cleaning IR models

If your server has offline recognition, you may need to update your recognition models. To do this, click «Settings», make sure «Offline image recognition» is enabled, and scroll down.

To clear the models, click «Clear IR models»

In the pop-up window «Cleared» , click «OK» to confirm clearing the model data

The app will automatically restart. Wait for the status at the top «Status: data refreshed, you can work»
