App settings

All app settings are set by default. If you need to change the settings, your supervisor or technical support specialist will let you know. To access the app settings, tap the menu icon in the lower left corner of the main screen and select Settings. This instruction describes in more detail what the various options do.

Account

In the settings, you can perform various actions related to accounts.

  • You can switch user account to log in to a different account
  • You can change your password. To do this, click on the Change password button. You will need to enter your current password and a new one, following the requirements. You can also generate new password
  • You can also click on the Help button, to open a chat with technical support
  • You can change app interface language

Switching user account

To switch user account while keeping the entered data (login, password and server), you can either press Switch user account in the main menu or in the Settings

The top of the page will display the already known accounts that were previously used on the current device

To sign in to an already known account, simply click on it

To sign in to another account, enter your username, password, and server and tap Save.

To remove an unnecessary account, tap the red icon next to the username. It will disappear from the list

Other

  • Enable Large font, to make the font in the app larger
  • To save traffic, enable the option Upload photos only with WIFI enabled. Reports will be uploaded anyway, but photos will only be uploaded when connected to WIFI
  • You have the option to choose the build version - main and test. The test build is used to test new versions of the app, new functionality, etc. There is a possibility that when using the test build, some basic functions of the app may not work, which may complicate your work.

    Therefore, we strongly recommend that you only use the main build
  • You can turn on the sound of the camera. If there is sound when this option is turned off, contact technical support



Enable Full-sized previews of photos to display preview photos at full size (not compressed) after shooting.

On the screenshot you can see how the preview is displayed with this option enabled



You can Disable multiple photo choice. If this option is enabled, you will use alternative way to select photos from the gallery (see screenshot).

Use this option if you encounter an error when trying to add a photo from the gallery



Enable Scene viewing optimization, if your device has problems when trying to view the scene (long loading time or app crashing). With this option enabled, the scene will be loaded as a single photo (see the example on the screenshot)

Extra

In the settings, you can also:

  • Tap Refresh GPS Data to update your location. Use this if you see that your location is not up to date or has been incorrectly determined.
  • Open chat with technical support by clicking Help
  • Clear Cache Data. A password will be required for this. If you do this, queued reports, incomplete reports, started wizards/training, and recognizer data will be erased.

    Clear cache data only if a technical support specialist asks you to do so
  • Clear File Cache This will delete downloaded learning materials, planograms, photos. Use this cleanup to free up memory on your device
  • Change Main Screen Background
